Authors

1. An Author of the article is a person who significantly contributed to the concept of work or to the analysis and interpretation of data; prepared the original version of the text or made its critical evaluation, making a significant intellectual contribution; made a decision about the final shape of the text in the version in which it is to be published. In case of a disclosure that the Author of the publication has committed plagiarism, falsification of data or double publication, the Editorial Board of the Journal of Applied Materials Engineering will ask him for an explanation and then take the steps provided for in the guidelines. This may mean notification to the authorities of the Author's scientific unit, rejection of a given article, and refusal to publish in the journal any texts by that person.
2. The Editorial Office uses an anti-plagiarism software (NiePlagiatom.pl), Tomi Soft Tomasz Michalik company.
3. Before submitting the article the Editorial Board should eliminate two types of violation of publishing ethics related to authorship, defined terms ghostwriting and guest authorship. Ghostwriting refers to a situation where a person who contributed significantly to the creation of the publication, does not appear as its Author or its contribution is not described in the publication. Guest authorship is a situation in which a person is mentioned in the publication as an Author, although his contribution to the creation of the text is insufficient or none.
    
4. The submitted statement should contain information about the nature of the Author's contribution in the creation of the publication. Any changes to the authorship information require the written consent of all Authors. The editorial staff does not undertake to participate in a dispute over authorship. If the change of information about the Authors concerns the article already published, the next issue of the journal will be published the article containing the text correction.

5. In cases of scientific misconduct or plagiarism, the Publisher will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and make amendments to a specific article. This includes the prompt publication of errata or, in justified cases, the withdrawal of an article from the journal.

General guidelines

Journal of Applied Materials Engineering has no restrictions on the length of manuscripts, provided that the text is compact and comprehensive. Full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reconstructed. Manuscripts submitted to Journal of Applied Materials Engineering should neither been published before nor be under consideration for publication in another journal.

Submission Process

Manuscripts for Journal of Applied Materials Engineering should be submitted online. The submitting author, who is generally the corresponding author, is responsible for the manuscript during the submission and double blind peer-review process. The submitting author must make certain that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author list and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript. Accepted File Formats

Authors must use the Microsoft Word template to prepare their manuscript. Using the template file will effectively shorten the time to complete copy-editing and publication of accepted manuscripts. The total amount of data for all files must not exceed 120 MB.

Manuscript Preparation

Research manuscripts should contain:

• Title should be concise, succinct and contain information about the essence of a scientific publication.

• Author List and Affiliations: Authors' full first and last names must be provided. Affiliations: unit, complete address information including city, zip code, state/province, and country. One author should be designated as corresponding author, please give his or her email address.

• Abstract should be a total of about 200 words maximum. The abstract should include a brief description of the research and findings with particular emphasis put on news items contained in the presented study.
   
• Keywords: Three to ten words and phrases should be carefully selected to identify the problems published.

• Introduction should include a brief summary of the present state of the art to justify undertaking the subject for investigation in terms of an original contribution of the publication to the subject matter presented. The Introduction should formulate a thesis (or theses) of the publication.

• Materials and Methods should develop the issues summarised in the Introduction (theory and computations). Essential is the description of test material, presentation of the method(s) of measurement and description of the basic conditions of measurement.

• Results: The numerical results contained in tables or converted in the form of graphs should be completed with comments regarding the estimated errors of the measurement.. Provide a concise and precise description of the experimental results, their interpretation as well as the experimental conclusions that can be drawn.
   
• Discussion: Discussion of results includes analysis of the results of work as challenged by the thesis put forward in the Introduction and including previously published results of other Authors. The importance and novelty of the results should be underlined.
   
• Conclusions: This is the most important section, the conclusions of the study should be presented in a concise form.
   
• Acknowledgments can be conveyed to people who have made a significant contribution to the subject of research described in the publication and are not the Authors of the publication; the funding source of the work should also be stated.
   
• References must be numbered in order of appearance in the text (including table captions and figure legends) and listed individually at the end of the manuscript. We recommend preparing the references with a bibliography software package. In the text, reference numbers should be placed in square brackets [ ]. Please use the Chicago style guide.

Preparing Figures, Schemes and Tables

• File for Figures and Schemes must be provided during submission in a single zip archive and at a sufficiently high resolution (minimum 1000 pixels width/height, or a resolution of 300 dpi or higher). Common formats are accepted, however, TIFF, JPEG, EPS and PDF are preferred.

• All Figures, Schemes and Tables should be inserted into the main text close to their first citation and must be numbered following their number of appearance (Figure 1, Scheme I, Figure 2, Scheme II, Table 1, etc.) and should have a short title and caption.

• There is no additional cost for publishing full color graphics.

Reviewer Suggestions

During the submission process, please suggest three potential reviewers with the appropriate expertise to review the manuscript. Pease provide detailed contact information (address, homepage, phone, e-mail address).

English Corrections

To facilitate proper peer-reviewing of your manuscript, it is essential that it is submitted in grammatically correct English. If you are not a native English speaker, we recommend that you have your manuscript professionally edited before submission or read by a native English-speaking colleague.

Editors and Journal Staff as Authors

Editorial staff or editors shall not be involved in the processing their own academic work. Submissions authored by editorial staff/editors will be assigned to at least two independent outside reviewers. Decisions will be made by other editorial board members who do not have conflict of interests with the author.

Editorial Procedures and Peer-Review

The decision to accept for printing the submitted text shall be based on transparent REVIEW standards (double blind peer review), comprising the following steps.

1. Formal evaluation conducted by the Editorial Board. The author is informed of the initial acceptance and submission of the article to reviewer or rejection.
2. Giving an editorial number to the article, which will be used in the later stages of the procedure.
3. Transfer of anonymous (i.e. identified by number only) text of the article to two competent Reviewers.
4. After receiving a review the editors inform the Author of the result and forward any comments or suggestions for improvement of the text. The Author within 1 week is required to incorporate the reviewers comments and make the suggested improvements.
5. The decision regarding the submitted text can be the following:

• "Accepted Unconditionally" – the work can be published without changes or after correcting some minor faults.
• "Accepted Conditionally" – the work can be published in the event the Author(s) improve the text following the reviewers’ comments and suggestions; re-reviewing is not required, only the Editor’s acceptance.
• "Rejected" – the article in its present form is not suitable for publication. The Author can resubmit the article after introducing some major improvements and revising it thoroughly and carefully following the Reviewers’ or Editor’s suggestions.

6. If the Reviewers do not report any objections, or if the Author complies with the submitted substantive and procedural recommendations, the Editors ultimately approve the text for printing, and then subject it to an editorial and linguistic verification.
